Electrician - Red Seal (301A) Licensed Electrician

About the Role Powerhouse Electric is seeking an Electrician with a valid 309A Red Seal Electrical license who has proven experience running small job sites independently and leading a team. This role is ideal for a highly reliable professional who takes pride in their work, shows up prepared, and can be trusted to manage daily site operations with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, leadership ability, and a documented track record of reliability, supported by references who can vouch for consistency, accountability, and work ethic. Key Responsibilities • Independently manage small to mid-sized job sites • Lead, supervise, and coordinate electricians and apprentices on-site • Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and ensure timelines are met • Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs • Take pride in precision, safety, and craftsmanship • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site • Communicate respectfully and effectively with other contractors, inspectors and clients • Manage inventory to avoid delays • Mentor apprentices and uphold industry standards Required Qualifications • Fully a valid 309A Red Seal Electrical license in Canada • Valid drivers license with reliable personal vehicle (many job sites do not have public transit available) • Proven experience leading a crew and running sites independently • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently without constant supervision • Experience mentoring apprentices • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Must be able to work in all weather conditions including extreme cold and heat What We Offer • Competitive, experience-based compensation • Health and dental benefits • Supportive team culture that values craftsmanship and safety • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership Send email with cover letter and resume to hello@powerhouseinc.ca
