What You’ll Do As an HVAC Helper, you’ll work alongside experienced mechanics and junior mechanics on a variety of projects. Typical HVAC installations include: -Ductwork -Heat pumps -Ventilation systems -Gas furnaces -Steam and water boilers -Burners -Rooftop package units -VRV systems -VAV boxes -Kitchen hoods Requirements for HVAC Entry Level Jobs The ideal candidate will possess: -Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn -Essential tools (or willingness to purchase after 90 days) -Teamwork skills and commitment to safety -Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and job readiness test -Flexibility to work overtime when required Pay scale depends on experience.
