Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator/ Shipping & Receiving

Duties • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. • Perform order picking using RF scanners and pickers to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. • Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting cargo for damages, and ensuring proper documentation. • Load and unload trucks with heavy lifting requirements while adhering to OSHA safety standards. • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update records, and streamline warehouse operations. • Conduct materials handling tasks including stacking, sorting, and organizing products on pallets or shelves for optimal storage. • Assist with warehouse supervision duties when needed, supporting team coordination and maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications • Proven warehouse distribution experience with familiarity in order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy equipment operation. • Valid forklift certification; experience operating cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery is highly preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. • Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory control. • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift. • Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are valued for team collaboration.
