Structural Welder / Fitter - MIG & Flux (3G)

We are currently hiring an experienced Structural Welder / Fitter for a fabrication shop in Northwest Houston. This position requires strong MIG and Flux Core welding experience, blueprint reading, and structural fit-up skills. All candidates must be able to pass a 3G uphill weld test and fitting exam. Responsibilities • Perform structural welding using MIG and Flux Core • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings • Fit and assemble structural components and frameworks • Set up and operate welding machines safely • Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding • Maintain quality and accuracy in fabrication work Requirements • Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding • Must be able to pass a 3G uphill weld test • Prior fitting and structural fabrication experience • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings • Welding certification is a plus but not required • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
