Experienced Journeyman Plumbers

Job Overview We are seeking skilled Journeyman Plumbers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing various plumbing tasks in a commercial setting. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. It also requires a complete understanding of the IPC and OSHA. Duties • Install underground, top-out and fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and pipes. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Including references to the IPC • Perform pipe threading and construction plumbing tasks as needed. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing projects. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to ensure comprehensive project completion. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols as related to OSHA. Skills • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems. • Experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations as noted in the IPC. • Ability to perform pipe threading and utilize various hand tools effectively. • Strong maintenance person skills with experience in related trades such as carpentry. • Familiarity with commercial driving practices may be beneficial for transporting materials. • Welding skills are a plus for specific plumbing tasks that may require joining metal pipes. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
