Welder – Amarillo, TX Pay: Starting at $22/hour Schedule: Full-Time Posted: March 10, 2026 Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Welder to join the manufacturing and fabrication team of one of our valued clients in the Texas Panhandle. This role involves performing welding and metal fabrication tasks to assemble components with precision, quality, and safety. Job Summary The Welder will be responsible for completing MIG welding and related fabrication work according to blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a production environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform MIG and other applicable welding processes to join metal components according to specifications • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures such as tanks, frames, brackets, and other components • Inspect completed welds to ensure accuracy, quality, and structural integrity • Safely handle welding materials, gases, and equipment while following all safety procedures • Maintain welding equipment and report repair or maintenance needs • Follow all company and industry safety policies to ensure a safe work environment • Collaborate with fabrication and production team members to meet deadlines and production goals • Troubleshoot welding or assembly issues and assist in resolving fabrication challenges • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, materials used, and procedural adjustments • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe • Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material‑handling equipment as needed • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team Qualifications • Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings • Knowledge of MIG welding and other welding techniques • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or shop environment • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required Benefits of Working as an Express Associate Associates may be required to work a specified number of hours or weeks before becoming eligible for certain benefits. • Weekly pay • Direct deposit • Medical plan options • Referral bonuses How to Apply Submit your application online at expresspros.com/amarillotx or apply in person at: 6605 I‑40 West, Amarillo, TX 79106 For questions, call 806‑467‑2562
