GENERAL LABORER or Material Handler or Tool Room Attendant- STEEL MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT Location: Fort Worth & Crowley Locations Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Pay: $17.00 GENERAL LABORER • Crane operation • Squaring poles, • Some grinding and heating with torch, • Stocking welding wire and willing to carry up to 50lbs. • Very active and positive, willing to learn attitude. • Tenure at jobs is a plus. • Must know how to read a tape measure 1/16th • Other GL duties. MATERIAL HANDLER • Be able to move large heavy loads. Using basic forklift and larger heavy ton forklifts like a Taylor Lift. • Load and Unload Monopoles / Utility poles and guardrail components. • At least 2 years forklift experience. • Prefer experience in steel industry. • Must be bilingual Tool Room Attendant • Position reports to maintenance supervisor. • Will be responsible for ordering shop supplies and maintaining the tool room. • Will ensure that tools are properly stored, receive proper preventative maintenance, and issued to employees when needed. • Will be responsible for tracking parts. Comfortable with replying to emails and computer savvy. • Eager and willing to learn: Repair air hoses, air grinders, air chisels, wiring foot petals (minor electrical).
