Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Technician to perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to diagnose complex issues, ensure equipment reliability, and mentor other technicians. Responsibilities • Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and farm machinery. • Diagnose complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and service manuals. • Execute both scheduled and unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and performance standards. • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities. • Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery. • Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support repair and maintenance tasks. Qualifications Required Skills • High school diploma or GED. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, or electrical systems. • Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools and service manuals. • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings. • Ability to provide own tools suitable for the job. • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments. Preferred Skills • ASE certifications or OEM-specific training (e.g., CAT, Hyster, Cummins). • Experience with field service or mobile repair. • Strong communication and customer service skills.
