Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) - Night Shift

Job Overview Are you a licensed 442A Electrician looking to take the next step in your career? Marquis is looking for a licensed Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team on the night shift. In this role, you’ll maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to keep our plant running safely and efficiently. You’ll work with a variety of machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve issues quickly to support continuous operations. Job type: Full time, permanent Shift: Nights – 11:00 pm – 7:00 am KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide technical support for manufacturing areas and building systems, performing both electrical and mechanical repairs • Maintain work orders in the CMMS and assist with parts inventory management • Perform preventive maintenance, keep schedules on track, and troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools • Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs • Attend safety meetings and follow up on safety concerns • Select and install electrical components to replace obsolete parts and maintain machine functionality • Draw or edit electrical wiring diagrams to ensure accurate “As Built” documentation • Adhere to Health & Safety policies, including proper PPE use, safe lifting techniques, and ergonomic work practices • Perform other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS: • Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) – 309A also considered • Strong mechanical aptitude and PLC troubleshooting experience • Ability to read electrical schematics and work independently • Understanding of Ontario Electrical Safety Code and compliance with all health and safety regulations. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams • Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal • Basic understanding of manufacturing databases and all MS Office products, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook QUALIFICATIONS: • Diploma or Apprenticeship Certification • Electrical License Certificate required, with completion of a recognized apprenticeship program as a Construction and Maintenance Electrician (309A) or Industrial Electrician (442A). • Valid Electrician License (309A or 442A) issued by the Ontario College of Trades. • 4+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment • Printing experience is a plus ADVANTAGES: • Competitive pay and benefits • Group Benefits and company pension • Work with advanced technology in a collaborative environment • Opportunity for growth and skill development • Be part of a team that values safety, innovation, and excellence Are you interested in joining our team as an Industrial Electrican?
