Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Pipefitter (NCCER Certified) to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex piping systems, ensuring they meet strict safety and quality standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various industrial projects. Your expertise will help drive successful project completion while adhering to all relevant codes and standards. Duties • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems. • Install, modify, and repair piping for HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, pipeline, and manufacturing applications using appropriate tools and techniques. • Perform welding tasks including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and welding to join pipe sections securely according to ASME codes & standards. • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading machines, tube benders, and soldering equipment to complete precise pipe fabrication and installation. • Conduct rigging operations for lifting heavy pipe sections safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. • Read and follow schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure proper assembly of piping systems aligned with project specifications. • Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols; inspect work for quality assurance; troubleshoot issues promptly; assist in routine maintenance of piping infrastructure. Experience • Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a related construction or manufacturing setting with a focus on pipe installation and maintenance. • NCCER certification as a Journeyman Pipefitter demonstrating verified skills in pipefitting techniques and safety standards. • Skilled in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and welding with the ability to pass relevant certifications. • Strong mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, tube bending, rigging, and the use of hand tools and power tools. • Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, ASME codes & standards, HVAC systems, plumbing installations, fire sprinkler fitting, pipeline construction, and schematics interpretation. • Experience working on construction sites or within manufacturing environments with exposure to safety protocols and OSHA regulations. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise pipe fitting; ability to read calipers accurately.
