Red Seal 309A Electrician (International Projects)
Location: International (Africa / Caribbean) | Departure: Pearson International Airport, Toronto Job Type: Contract / Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO)
About the Role
We are a Canadian electrical contractor seeking adventurous and highly skilled Red Seal 309A Electricians.
If you have previous experience working in Africa or the Caribbean—and an interest in returning to similar project environments—we want to hear from you.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer highly competitive compensation packages tailored to the scope of your assignment:
• Role-Based Pay: Hourly rates are tiered based on your position (Electrician Lead vs.
Crew Member).
• Location-Based Pay: Total compensation is adjusted based on the specific international location of the project.
• Per Diem: Generous daily per diem provided while on assignment.
• Fully Covered Logistics: All flights, travel, and accommodations are 100% arranged and paid for by the company.
Schedule & Rotation
• Rotation: 6 to 8-week international assignments, followed by 2 weeks off (with a paid return trip home).
• Hours: Six 10-hour workdays per week while on assignment.
Key Responsibilities
You will bring a well-rounded skill set to our international sites, focusing on:
• Installation of solar arrays and inverter systems.
• Managing all related interconnections from initial setup to final execution.
• Testing, commissioning, and comprehensive troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Active Red Seal 309A Certification.
• Valid passport for the full duration of the international assignment.
• Must maintain Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident (PR) status.
• Preferred: Previous electrical experience in Africa, the Caribbean, or similar remote/international project environments.
