Master HVAC Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in residential and commercial settings. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems. • Troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning. • Conduct service calls for repairs on air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. • Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. • Collaborate with other technicians on complex installations or repairs. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. • Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site or in the field. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Experience The successful candidate will have: • Previous experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry. • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and plumbing systems. • Proficiency in working with ammonia refrigeration systems. • Strong mechanical skills with experience in equipment repair and appliance repair. • Knowledge of field service operations related to HVAC/R systems. • Experience with welding techniques as they pertain to HVAC installations. • Ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues. • A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. • Experience in property maintenance is a plus.
