Welder/Fabricator

Edmonton fabrication/welding company looking for a self motivated, energetic and skilled Welders ticketed and/or non-ticketed dependent on years of MIG and TIG experience. We are a non-union, privately owned fabrication shop, operating successfully for over 55 years, with long-term employees and consistent year-round indoor work. Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English, as well as possess solid mathematical and measurement skills. A strong work ethic combined with a positive leadership and learning attitude are assets. Qualifications must include: • Excellent Fabrication Skills are crucial (minimum 5 years experience) • Work safely in a shop floor environment • Strong verbal/written communication skills • Good organizational skills • Valid Drivers License • Mechanically inclined • Aluminum TIG, push-pull MIG experience an asset • Carbon steel MIG experience an asset • Stainless Steel MIG/TIG an asset Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Fabricate, fit, and assemble components for custom fabrications • Follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders • Organize and keep work area and equipment clean and functional • Work well in a team environment We offer the following: • Monday – Friday Full time and over time(occasional weekends) • Home every night for family • Benefits • Ongoing Safety Training • 55+ year stable employer • * LOCAL APPLICANTS CURRENTLY LIVING IN AREA ONLY PLEASE ** Wage: Competitive Edmonton fabrication shop wages, dependent on experience.
