Power or HVAC Technician 2

We’re looking for a Power, Electrician or HVAC Technician 2 in our Service Center in Calgary, AB - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers. Why Aggreko? Here are some of the perks and rewards. • Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekends • No premium cost medical plan option available • Personal use vehicle, Annual bonus program • Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more • Career growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available, safety-focused culture working on brand new technology What you’ll do: • You’ll be based out of our Calgary, AB service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle • You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power equipment of various sizes. • Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and possibly customer locations, and handle the repairs • You will either be on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience: • High School diploma/GED or equivalent work history • 4-7 years of experience working on commercial HVAC, Cummins diesel power/natural gas generators, Mechanics or electricians performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs • Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage, along with reading and knowing schematics • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
