World Class Contracting is urgently looking for Apprentice & Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter’s to work on a project in the Calgary area START WORK ASAP! We are currently hiring Plumbing Apprentices and Journeymen for projects in Calgary & Strathmore. Tasks required will vary depending on Plumber Trade Level Achieved, but may include the following: • Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size • Interpret Blueprints to plan plumbing installations • Train & Mentor Apprentices • Collaborate with others trades on site to complete project Working Conditions • Physically Demanding • Bending, Crouching, Kneeling • Working Under Pressure • Working with Hand Tools Must have a CSTS ticket and CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots before first day of work for consideration.
