Industrial Welder

Join American Augers, a proud division of The Toro Company, dedicated to building the industry’s largest horizontal directional drills and an extensive range of auger boring machines. With any rugged user in mind, our equipment is designed for durability and supported by 24-hour global assistance. Shift: 5am-3:30pm, Monday - Thursday (overtime on Fridays as needed) Wage: $18-20 per hour based on experience Key Responsibilities of an Industrial Welder: • Perform hand welding of components essential for assembling machinery. • Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and related documents. • Set up fixtures, mount parts, and conduct mechanical assembly. • Adjust and operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components efficiently. • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including welding hood, gloves, sleeves, safety glasses, face shields, and hearing protection. • Execute additional duties as required. Qualifications We Seek: • MIG welding experience or completion of a formal welding training program, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. • Capability to pass the necessary entry-level plate test for production welding. • Mechanical aptitude, including proficiency with hand and air-powered tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.). • Basic reading, clerical, and math skills are essential. • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
