**Overview**
• *Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Assemble and build plumbing systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to identify issues.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Must have own hand tools Have own hand tools. I.e. Drills, impact, various screwdrivers, soldering tools, pex tools, channel locks, pipe wrenches etc.
- Must be willing to work out of town when needed
- Ability to pull permits (Journeyperson) is required
- Must be willing to train apprentices
• *Skills**
- Proficient in the use of power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience in reading blueprints and schematics for effective installation.
- Ability to assemble, build, and plumb various fixtures and appliances.
- Familiarity with carpentry skills as they relate to plumbing installations.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
