Forklift Operator/Labourer

We offer full time hours with over time available as per business needs and a friendly and safe work environment. Major Tasks and Responsibilities • Experience with High Reach Truck. This is 90% GL and 10% forklift role. • Unloading different types of equipment; flatbed trailers, box trailers, containers, box rail cars and center beam rail cars containing lumber product or large commodity items. • Hand bombing off trailers when needed • Communicating directly with inbound truck drivers, obtaining paperwork, verifying appointment times and verifying product quantities to paperwork. • Communicating directly with outbound truck drivers, verifying trailer numbers to BOL’s and signing paperwork on their departure • Ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times. • Use of RF scanner and associated technology. Minimum Qualifications for Operators • 1 year relevant experience in High Reach Truck working in a similar role. • Must be comfortable working as a warehouse associate and lifting up to 50 Lbs. • Be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends, days, and holidays. • Must have experience and license for High Reach Truck and Counterbalance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 per hour Licence/Certification: • Reach and counter balance Licence (required) Work Location: In person
