Counterbalance Forklift Operator

Clare is growing its Toronto yard. Seeking an experienced Counterbalance Operator to work in fast paced environment, relevant drywall industry experience is required. • *Benefits and Perks**: - Company paid benefits - Company sponsored retirement plan - Paid vacation - Full-time, straight shift - Bonus incentives • *Job Duties**: - Operation counterbalance forklift (propane) - Lifting, staging, racking and moving of various building materials (drywall, steel studs, insulation, ceiling tile, and other related products) - Load/unload products and materials from tractor trailers, flat beds, van trailers - Inventory tracking, order tracking - Quality assurance, maintaining the integrity of products - Other duties as assigned • *Requirements**: - 2+ years experience operating counterbalance forklift in a like-environment - Ability to lift, bend, and twist 50 lbs - 1+ year experience in handling drywall - Experience in loading and unloading of delivery vehicles (flatbeds, transport trucks, flat beds, etc.) required - Experience staging drywall considered an asset - Ability to work indoor/outdoors in all weather conditions - Clear communication, verbal and written (English) - Uphold company standards of customer service - Problem-solving abilities - Proven reliable track record - Ability to work at a fast pace with time-sensitive tasks • *Benefits**: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay Work Location: In person
