Residential Electrician

In this role, you'll perform essential electrical repairs and installations for residential customers while ensuring their safety and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment in residential settings. Diagnose issues with electrical systems, utilizing tools and equipment to locate and fix problems. Connect wires to various electrical components including circuit breakers and transformers. Inspect systems and components for hazards and compliance with safety codes. Plan installation layouts based on specifications and local regulations. Install grounding leads and connect power cables to equipment. Run conduit and pull insulated wires through to complete electrical circuits. Construct and fasten electrical boxes to accommodate switches and outlets. Provide sketches and cost estimates for your work. Collaborate with other departments to maintain productive service records. Ensure job sites are clean and respect customer property after completing work. Keep your company vehicle clean and organized. Always uphold a professional image in all interactions. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in residential service and maintenance. GED or High School Diploma required; an Associate degree in a related field is preferred. Strong math and reading comprehension skills. In-depth knowledge of electrical concepts, codes, and safety practices. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Own essential trade tools. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
