6G TIG Pipe Welder – Stainless | $30–$40/hr | Long-Term Work We are currently seeking experienced 6G TIG Pipe Welders for a long-term opportunity. This position will start in the shop and then transition to a plant project approximately 25 miles away after the first few weeks. This is steady work with strong hours for skilled welders. Pay & Hours • $30 – $40 per hour depending on experience and weld test • 50 hours per week • Long-term work opportunity • Local position Job Details • Position will start in the fabrication shop • After several weeks, work will transition to a plant job about 25 miles away • Welding stainless steel pipe using TIG (GTAW) • Welding in the 6G position • Working with Schedule 10 stainless pipe • Maintaining high-quality welds that meet inspection standards Weld Test All candidates must pass the following test: • 6G TIG Purge – Schedule 10 Stainless Steel Pipe • TIG Root, Fill, and Cover Passes Requirements • Strong experience with TIG welding stainless pipe • Ability to weld 6G pipe • Experience with purge setups • Ability to read prints and follow weld procedures • Reliable transportation to shop and plant site
