Journeyperson Welder

Propell is looking for Welder Journeypersons & Apprentices to join our Calgary manufacturing team as part of our afternoon shift. RESPONSIBILITIES • Read and interpret production drawings, work orders and other manufacturing specifications to accurately layout, weld and fabricate product, sub-assemblies and components for manufacturing • Operate welding equipment and other metalworking tools and machinery • Ensure quality and other necessary documentation is completed • Attend training, production and safety meetings as required • Maintain safe work procedures at all times QUALIFICATIONS • Journeyperson Trade Certificate or Apprenticeship • CWB ticket(s) • 3+ years of experience in welding and/or fabrication an asset • Able to interpret and follow written instructions and engineering drawings • Strong knowledge and skill in operating all metalworking machinery • Strong attention to detail • Able to work well in both independent and team environments • Able to lift up to 50 lbs Benefits • Comprehensive medical and dental coverage • Vision care • Life insurance and disability coverage • Matching RRSP program • Apprenticeships and training • Opportunities for growth • Work boot allowance • And more!
