Welder/Tester/Inspector

Job Overview: M1 Tank Inspections Ltd provides mobile tank and vessel inspections, testing, and repairs. We are looking for an entry level welder/inspector/tester. This application is for the Swift Current area, but it would be possible in the right circumstances to employ someone from the Saskatoon or Regina areas. This job requires regular travel which on occasion may extend into weekends. Travel is mostly within Saskatchewan but occasionally into Manitoba and Alberta. Welding experience is necessary. You will be trained to and need to learn how to perform aluminum tank and piping repairs. Some steel welding will also be necessary. A welding test will be given prior to hiring. Training will be on the job and will include welding repairs and tank inspections on a variety of vessels. There is the opportunity to eventually work on your own and/or lead a team of inspectors. This is a salaried position. Holiday time will be flexible and will be built into the yearly schedule. Must have: welding experience, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, and be highly reliable. Preference will be given to applicants with aluminum welding experience, mig and tig, experience with the pneumatic systems on trucks, prior inspection experience, and trucking industry experience.
