Journeyperson and Apprentice Welders CWB CERTIFIED

Requirements and Responsibilities: • 1 – 2 years minimum experience is preferred • Heavy lifting may be required • The ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening test • Required Safety Certification courses will be provided to the successful candidate • Weld Test will be required • Own basic hand tools • Willing to work outside in all weather conditions • 10 hour shifts, available for OT as required • Reliable transportation - bus service limited Additional Preferred Skills for a Journeyperson: • CWB certified FCAW welding - all Position preferred. flat mandatory; • SMAW - all position, preferred • Interpret welding process specifications • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications • Preference to those who have structural steel experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: • Company events • Dental care • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Extended health care • Life insurance • Paid time off • RRSP match • Vision care • Wellness program Experience: • Welding: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: • CWB (required) Work Location: In person
