Copper Pipefitter

Berger Engineering Company located in Carrollton, Texas is a leader in the commercial, institutional and industrial mechanical contracting field. We are in search for Copper Pipefitters who has experience in working in a commercial HVAC environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow company safety policies • Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. • Piping knowledge of VAV’s and Air Handling units. • Sweat and Solder Copper. • Be willing to learn and take direction. • Must have reliable transportation. • Possess general knowledge of hand tools and their use. • Mechanical ability. • Ability to read and understand blueprints. • Be able to identify material for piping copper. • Commercial HVAC experience is a plus. • Knowledge of fire safety REQUIREMENTS: • 3-5 years of experience desired. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently. • Strong attention to detail. • Strong organizational skills. • Willingness to learn. • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly • Must be able to drive in hazardous weather conditions • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions In addition to salary, Berger Engineering employees have access to medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee and family, PTO, 401(k) plan and additional benefit programs Berger Engineering Company is an equal opportunity employer.
