Welder 2nd shift

Assist in the timely production of all welded parts and ensure welds being completed are within acceptable quality standards. Essential Functions: * Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed. * Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts. * Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. * Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required. * Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment. * Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards. * Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment. * Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns. * Perform other duties as assigned.   Education and Training * High School Diploma/GED required. * Prior welding experience, required.   Minimum Qualifications * Ability to pass welding certification test. * Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment. * Must follow all safety practices and policies. * Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances. * Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.    Physical Demands * Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp. * Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing. * Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs.   Environmental Conditions * Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility. * Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.   Behavioral Traits * Production - Adopting a strong orientation toward achievement, holding high expectations for yourself and others, pushing yourself and others to achieve at high levels * Cooperation - Accommodating the needs and interests of others by being willing to defer performance on your own objectives to assist colleagues with theirs * Consensual - Valuing the ideas and opinions of others and collecting their input as part of your decision-making process. * Listening - Understands and learns from what others say. * Attention to Detail - Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks * Teamwork - Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables. * Safety Focus - Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.   *This is not a comprehensive list of duties.
