The Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components used in modular units, ensuring work tasks are performed following safety procedures and company policies while ensuring a high level of quality and timeliness.  In this position, you also get to assist in the assembly and welding of modular building components.  Job Responsibilities:   * Weld structural steel and metal components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques. * Perform layout and fitting of metal parts prior to welding.   * Fabricate and assemble frames, supports, and other modular building components.   * Complete grinding, finishing, and touch-up work as needed. * Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.   * Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in safe working condition.   Who You Are:   * A team player and a safe worker, who can safely handle materials and operate hand, power & welding tools.  * Proficient experience in MIG welding.  * FCAW certification is required.  * Previous experience with the assembly of modular units is considered an asset.  * Ability to lift 55lbs unassisted and 35lbs overhead.  * Capability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time.  * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.  What We Offer:  * Indoor Manufacturing facility with work life balance.  * Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day shift.  * A fun, dynamic, inclusive, and hardworking team.  * Continuous learning and growth opportunities.  Who we Are:  ATCO Structures is a worldwide leader in modular design, manufacturing, and construction.
