309A Electrician - Licensed

About Us Evolute Power is a growing electric vehicle technology company, specializing in power management solutions. Our work includes electrical contracting for EV infrastructure across multi-res, commercial and residential environments. We are expanding and looking to add skilled professionals to our team. Position Summary We are currently hiring 309A Licensed Electricians with experience in commercial and residential electrical work. Experience with civil work is considered an asset. Note: This position is for 309A Licensed Journeypersons only. Responsibilities: • Work with switchgears, transformers, disconnects, and panels • Complete residential service upgrades and panel swaps • Install EV circuits and stations in homes, businesses, multi-resi and more. • Perform commercial and residential electrical installations • Install and bend conduit (½" to 3") and perform related wiring • Lead and organize electrical projects and teams • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and site personnel • Assist in planning multi-residential and commercial condominium projects • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes • Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems • Install and test communication wiring (ethernet) • Provide your own hand tools to complete tasks. Specialty tools provided by company e.g. SDS, coring drills, Bandsaws and more. Experience: • Valid 309A Electrical License (Ontario) • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience • Minimum 3 year of residential experience • Solid knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and accurately • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record • Working at Heights and WHMIS certification Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
