Installs, configures, commissions, tests, repairs, inspects, and maintains various automation and instrumentation equipment including SCADA systems, PLC's, HMl's, Flowmeters, VFD's, UPS systems, gate position and water level devices. Supports 24/7/365 reliable and safe operation of critical SCADA system / ICS components while interfacing with internal operations and engineering teams. Designs, creates, configures, installs, commissions, and maintains various SCADA interface systems using associated software such as Aveva, Rockwell Factory Talk, Studio, RS Logix, RSLinx, Ripos, and others. A few of your specific main responsibilities would include: Performs installation, startup, configuration, commissioning, maintenance, testing, calibration, and repair of ICS/OT systems that control, record, indicate, and regulate physical outputs, level, flow, temperature and position. Troubleshoots complex ICS/OT electrical circuits to the component level. Uses specialized test equipment including laptop PC’s, volt meters, process meters, and O-scope meters to configure, commission, test and repair systems. Assists in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) as directed. Responsible for after-hours callouts to perform emergency repairs of maintained equipment. Performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on ICS/OT systems and components. Makes routine performance measurements and operates equipment as necessary to ensure proper system operation. Make recommendations and perform SCADA, ICS, OT software changes as necessary while maintaining documentation of changes as directed. Has a basic understanding of ICS / OT networks and security requirements and performs work as directed. Works with Maintenance Engineering to develop and update PM procedures. Install and place into service new metering, controlling and recording devices, calibrating as required. Update electrical systems including new wiring, circuits, and related equipment required for new installs. Reads and interprets wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and specifications in making installations or performing major repair work. Verifies and marks up electrical and electronic schematic and wiring diagrams as required. Confers with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to assist with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. About the Qualifications Having completed a state-certified related electrical apprenticeship, OR possessing the equivalent combination of education, related experience and demonstrated ability; PLUS at least three (3) years of journeyman-level work experience in an industrial electrical environment with technical and specialized knowledge is required to be successful in this position. A high school diploma (or GED) are required. • Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and maintain a good driving record. If candidate is hired from outside of Arizona, they will be required to obtain an Arizona driver's license. Preferences given to candidates who have: • Experience reading schematics and wire diagrams. • Experience using PCs to configure, test, and repair systems both locally and through secure remote access. • Experience installing, starting up, commissioning, maintaining and administering critical ICS / OT systems. • Experience using Historian systems for remote monitoring and troubleshooting. • Control Logix, Factory Talk View, Aveva, general PLC/HMI courses or similar training. Preferred Certifications of Licenses: Studio 5000, Factory Talk View, Aveva.
